The ongoing deportations of undocumented Afghan refugees by Pakistan, according to the Afghan owners of textile mills there, have left them with multiple problems in operating their businesses.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has reported an increase in Jewish settler attacks against Palestinians since the war started between Israel and Hamas. In the southern part of the West Bank, over a thousand people have been displaced, over a dozen villages have been destroyed, and farmers have been evicted from their land.
China has sentenced four Tibetans from Sertar county in Sichuan province to two years in prison each for engaging in religious activities — the second time they have been arrested and given jail time, said two Tibetans with knowledge of the situation.
Four children were also injured in the surprise attack. By RFA Burmese Shrapnel from a shell explosion killed three villagers and injured several others in western Myanmar on Tuesday night, residents told Radio Free Asia.
