On the night of April 6, 1994 the plane Carrington the then President of Rwanda Juvenal Habyarimana and the President of Burundi Cyprien Ntaryamira both Hutus was shotdown both were killed.

Hutu militias blamed the Rwandan Patriotic Front ( RPF) a rebel group consist of exiled Tutsi tribe and immediately launched Massacres of Tutsis.

Over the next 100 days about 800,000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus were massacred by Hutu Militias.
