It’s an architectural wonder, comments one of my friends who had just returned from China. Actually, the state controlled China Central Television (CC TV) headquarters in Beijing is world’s second largest office building after Pentagon in USA.
The 54 storied building looks like a jigsaw puzzle. Spread over 10 hectare and has 555,000 square meters of news rooms, broadcasting studios and production facilities.
The two huge towers leaning inwards six degrees were joined by a team of dedicated engineers and highly skilled workers, using a special technique remembering the fact that Beijing is prone to seismic events and China, one of the world’s most earthquake-prone countries.
