On March 18, 109 empty strollers were put throughout Lviv’s old town to symbolize the children who have died as a result of Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine. People become desensitised to statistics of losses during a war, according to the event’s organisers, thus they wanted to illustrate the figure. The silent protest included a demand for a no-fly zone over Ukraine to prevent Russian air and missile attacks
