The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust works to promote rural communities in the Yorkshire Dales and facilitates work days on a sheep farm for refugees and asylum seekers in England
For refugees in Britain, a day at the farm can be a welcome change of scenery and a chance to learn something new. The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust charity organizes visits each year, including at a sheep farm where refugees helped with tagging this year’s baby lambs.
Catching lambs isn’t easy, so Rodney invited a group of refugees to help on his farm.
The Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust organise events year round. These trips help asylum seekers to contribute and get involved in new communities while they wait for their asylum claims to be processed.
