Enjoy Foire Santons This Winter

The oldest and one of the most popular fairs in the Alpes-Maritimes department is the -Sartoux Santons Fair or Foire Santons.Alpes Maritimes department is in the south-east corner of Provence( it is one of the most beautiful regions of France) on the border with Italy and is best known for its scenic beauty.

The Santons ( clay models that depict the colorful people, activities and costumes of Provence) are on display at the Médiathèque-La Strada, just next to the cinema. Located in the heart of the city, the Media Library La Strada, media-cinema, is a popular cultural center and meeting place. Every year during the fair, more than 8,000 visitors enjoy the hand made dolls.

The fair is open runs until December 24.
